A couple of weeks before the release of Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey there was a huge campaign on social media. This was primarily regarding the casting choices made by Christopher Nolan and it ended up in this film’s trailer getting so many dislikes that it set a new record for number of dislikes for a film trailer on YouTube.
However, all this negativity is evaporating quickly as this Christopher Nolan film is setting a new all time record with its early reviews itself.
The film has debuted on a sensationally good note on Rotten Tomatoes, which is a leading platform that collects and presents all the data from major film reviewers. The film has opened with a sensational, 98% positive reviews from critics, which is an unprecedented achievement.
This is by far the best score for any Christopher Nolan film till date and is also one of the historic numbers for any big scale Hollywood film till date. To put that into perspective any score in the range of 85 to 90% is considered as super positive for a big scale film. But this time Odyssey has opened with 98% score, which is unprecedented.
What this would essentially mean is that all the top critics who have credibility in Hollywood Media have rated this film exceptionally highly. The early reactions have been outstandingly positive.
If this reflects in the public reaction after the release of this film, then there is every chance that it would be going beyond the $1 billion at the global box office.
