Aditya Dhar is currently one of the most sought-after directors in India following the massive success of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. While he is yet to announce his next, a new development has sparked fresh curiosity about the director’s future plans.
As per the Hindi media, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has revealed in an interview that he has approached Aditya Dhar to direct a biopic on legendary Ahom general Lachit Borphukan.
The CM also stated that initial discussions with Aditya Dhar have been positive and that the filmmaker is expected to visit Assam in August for further talks and see if the project is really feasible.
Well, this new development has raised a lot of discussions due to Aditya Dhar’s packed lineup. The director has been linked to several high-profile projects after Dhurandhar, including films with top stars like Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor.
