Chennai Love Story Bets High On Premieres

With the Mega boost that they received from Megastar Chiranjeevi, the makers of Chennai Love Story are currently confident of the film’s success. With the film hitting the screens tomorrow, the team is planning to hold premieres today, and it will play a crucial role in deciding the film’s openings. The makers are betting high on these paid premieres that a good word of mouth be generated on the film.

However, holding premieres is like riding a double-edged sword. It can make a film or break a film, especially at a time when word of mouth becomes crucial in deciding a film’s fate at the box office. Of late, films with strong content may survive with premieres, but if the talk is bad, it will leave a big negative impact on day-one openings.

Already, there are multiple premieres being scheduled across the Telugu states, and the team also plans to visit some of them. Sai Rajesh and SKN marketed the film so well that it got all the recognition before the release. Now, everything depends on the content. The trailer already displayed some engaging content with youthful elements. If the emotion strikes well with the audiences, then the film will surely strike gold at the box office.

The opening weekend number is very important for a film like this, especially considering the success Kiran Abbavaram is currently enjoying. Moreover, with less competition at the box office and with Jana Nayagan opening to a poor response, things can work brightly for Chennai Love Story if the premieres generate a good result.

Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya are playing the lead roles in the film. Ravi Namburi is the film’s director. Mani Sharma is the film’s music director. SKN and Sai Rajesh produced the film.
