Tamil Nadu politics witnessed the remarkable story of Thalapathy Vijay recently who became the chief minister of the state in his very first attempt. This appears to have inspired many other people to take this path, and another reputed actor, Dhanush could be the new addition sent to the list.

Dhanush held a massive public event in Tamil Nadu yesterday, where he distributed financial grants to children. This event had a strong political and social outreach vibe as Dhanush also touched on a few political matters.

Dhanush spoke about the need for the people of Tamil Nadu to stay united and show their power to the everyone. He repeatedly spoke about aligning with the centre for better development of Tamil Nadu and sanction of financial allocations.

There is the opinion that Dhanush could be used as the strong piece of political machinery for BJP in Tamil Nadu, as they had been wanting a strong face since the departure of Annamalai.

Along with that, there was this one visual at this public event of Dhanush yesterday as kids and their parents were made to fall on his feet repeatedly to give him a divine look. This is generally associated with politicians, and the whole scenario look very staged. But nevertheless, this might be the strategy of the team associated with the event.

This is the first official hint from Dhanush that he could be entering the political arena very soon, and this is going to be another big development in Tamil Nadu.

But the real question is whether the people of the state are actually interested in looking beyond Vijay, who created history by becoming the CM in first attempt and is living up to their reputation with his public friendly governance.
