The audio launch event of Vishwanath & Sons held today in Chennai kicked up the much-needed boost for the film and filled the excitement to Suriya’s fans.
Producer Naga Vamsi, director Venky Atluri and actor Suriya shared interesting comments that further raised expectations for the film.
Producer Naga Vamsi made a confident promise to Suriya’s fans, saying they would get to see Sanjay Ramaswamy, Suriya’s iconic character from Ghajini. He also expressed confidence that Vishwanath & Sons would become a huge blockbuster in Tamil like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was in Telugu. Vamsi said he is drawing comparison with Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo as it was also their own production venture.
Director Venky Atluri chose to keep his expectations realistic. He said he would not make big promises but assured audiences that they would be entertained for at least 1 hour and 45 minutes of the film’s 2-hour and 30-minute runtime. Venky’s honest statement drew applause from the crowd. Interestingly, Venky’s Tamil speech at the event caught the attention.
Actor Suriya responded with a heartfelt compliment for the director. He recalled that Venky Atluri had once said he had manifested the opportunity to work with him. Suriya then revealed that after watching Lucky Baskhar, he too manifested working with Venky Atluri, praising the director’s storytelling abilities.
With the film’s team expressing confidence in the project and praising each other’s work, the audio launch event has generated strong buzz for Vishwanath & Sons, which is gearing up for its theatrical release on August 14 with high expectations from fans and trade circles alike.
