Chiru Leaks Becoming Artificial?

The word Chiru Leaks needs no introduction. It became hugely popular when Chiranjeevi himself accidentally revealed the title Acharya while attending a film’s pre-release event as Chief Guest. In fact, it worked big and created good buzz even before the official announcement. Since then, Chiru Leaks has become an instant buzz factor.

But when Chiranjeevi’s natural spontaneity and energy are missing during a leak, it can start looking like a planned trick or gimmick.

That is what happened the other day at the Korean Kanakaraju success event. When the anchor asked about the Mega 158 title, Chiru responded by saying “Kadiri…”. This was followed by Thaman’s hyper reaction to stop Chiru from revealing the title.

Thaman even said that director Bobby had specifically asked him to ensure that the Mega 158 title was not leaked at the KOKA event. Chiru getting irritated with Thaman and the whole sequence made the episode look a bit unnatural.

Some onlookers felt that the entire episode looked somewhat artificial and overdone. It gave the impression that it was more about creating buzz for the Mega 158 teaser and title announcement, which is expected to happen on Chiranjeevi’s birthday on August 22.

Of course, all this could still be a clever trick played by Chiru. The actual title could begin with “Kadiri,” or it could be something completely different.
