Prabhas Extended Best Wishes To Irumudi: Mythri Ravi

The excitement around Ravi Teja’s Irumudi reached another level with the film’s trailer launch in Bhimavaram. The grand event, attended by the film’s core team, with Deputy Speaker Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju as the chief guest, drew a huge crowd.
 
Director Shiva Nirvana offered the biggest insight into the film by revealing that the trailer represents only a fraction of what awaits audiences. According to the director, the movie has three distinct layers that come together through the title Irumudi.
 
The first represents the bond between a father and daughter, the second refers to the sacred Irumudi associated with Ayyappa devotees, while the third revolves around the mystery surrounding the crime at the heart of the story.
 
Shiva said the unusual title and first look created considerable curiosity across both Telugu states, leading to several theories about the film. “Some assumed it was a devotional movie, while others believed it was connected to Sabarimala or was a remake. I deliberately chose to wait until the right moment to reveal what the film is actually about.”
 
While Telugu cinema has witnessed several raw and rustic films in recent times, Irumudi stands apart because of the intensity it brings to a family drama. The emotional and dramatic elements will leave audiences surprised.
 
Ravi Teja added a deeply personal touch to the event by recalling his special association with Bhimavaram. He revealed that his grandparents lived there and that he spent nearly eight months in the town during his younger days, primarily watching movies.
 
Producer Mythri Ravi spoke highly of the film’s casting and content. He revealed that Ravi Teja was the immediate choice when the story was narrated, given the actor’s ability to seamlessly handle action, humour and emotion.
 
“Ravi Teja said yes as soon as he heard the story. Priya Bhavani Shankar is perfectly suited to play his middle-class wife, and the casting has become one of the biggest strengths of the film. Baby Nakshatra has also delivered a fabulous performance. I’ve already watched the complete film and am pleased with the result.”
 
He also shared an interesting anecdote about Prabhas, revealing that the actor is currently shooting for Fauzi. Prabhas, he said, extended his best wishes to Irumudi and wished the team great success.
