DC Success Changes the Game for Loki’s AA23!

When hotshot Kollywood director Lokesh Kanagaraj announced his acting debut with DC, many were surprised at his decision and expressed doubts over his potential as an actor.

Proving everyone wrong, Lokesh Kanagaraj bagged brownie points for his gritty performance in DC. Also, the film emerged as a big hit at the box office, much to the shock of moviegoers and critics. 

While this unexpected success gives a big boost to Lokesh Kanagaraj, it also came as a huge joy for Allu Arjun’s fans. This is because of the fact that Lokesh will return to direction for his next project with the Pushpa star in the lead role. 

Known for hard hitting commercial potboilers, Lokesh suffered back to back setbacks with Leo and Coolie despite their box office status. Both these films didn’t perform on part with the high expectations and exposed some shortcomings in Lokesh’s directional mettle. 

So, when Allu Arjun’s AA23 was announced a few month ago, fans had some doubts on Lokesh’s calibre in handling their actor especially after the craze attained from pan-India blockbuster Pushpa 2. 

Luckily, the widespread positive reaction to DC has completely changed the mood. Industry buzz and fans believe that Lokesh did not just act in the movie, but might also contributed in the direction department and gave valuable inputs to the making of the film. 

Moreover, the success will also be a big morale boost to Lokesh Kanagaraj who faced some criticism for not fulfilling the expectations with Coolie and also for not taking up the sequels of Kaithi and Vikram as promised earlier. 

As AA23 is likely to go on floors after Atlee’s Raaka, fan expectations are very massive. They feel that Lokesh will carry forward the positive energy attained from DC success into Allu Arjun’s film and deliver his best at the box office.
