Charming Star Sharwa collaborates for the first time with director Sreenu Vaitla, who is known for making wholesome entertainers. Presented by ATV and backed by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments, with Ajay Sunkara as co-producer, the project was launched spectacularly today with a pooja ceremony.
The movie is intriguingly titled George Krish and is slated for a Sankranti release on January 14 next year. The poster looks colourful, with traditional patterns and a stylised hourglass coming together to create a distinctive identity. The title itself is designed like handwritten artwork, surrounded by bold black brush strokes. A miniature romantic silhouette of Sharwa and the heroine has also been cleverly embedded into the design.
Sharwa has already enjoyed memorable festive outings with Shatamanam Bhavati, Express Raja, and Nari Nari Naduma Murari, making the Sankranti window a familiar territory for the actor.
The film brings together an experienced technical crew. KV Guhan is behind the camera, Anup Rubens is composing the music, and Avinash Kolla is designing the production. Amar Reddy Kudumula is the editor, while Nandu Savirigana and Gopi Mohan are the writers.
The worldwide theatrical distributors have also been revealed, adding an interesting surprise, as such an announcement has never been made before on the same day the film was launched.
