Anirudh’s Special Love For Andhra Meals Surprises Everyone

Anirudh Ravichander may be a Tamil music director, but his popularity among Telugu audiences is huge. Despite making his Telugu debut with the flop Agnyathavasi, he went on to impress with films like Jersey, Gang Leader and Devara.

His Telugu connection is only getting stronger. He is currently scoring music for The Paradise and is also working on Nandamuri Balakrishna and Koratala Siva’s upcoming film. He has also sung songs for several Telugu films.

Interestingly, Anirudh’s love for Telugu culture is not limited to music. His food preference has now caught everyone’s attention, as his favourite cuisine reportedly comes from Andhra.

In an interview about his food habits, Anirudh revealed that he is a pure vegetarian. When asked about his favourite food, he gave a rather amusing answer. His number one, number two and number three choices were all the same, spicy Andhra meals.

Anirudh also revealed that he is a regular customer at National Lodge in Chennai, a popular old hotel run by Telugu people. He reportedly visits the place regularly to enjoy its spicy Andhra meals.

At a time when celebrities often proudly promote their own regional food and culture, Anirudh openly praising Andhra meals is certainly interesting. His special love for spicy Andhra food is winning the hearts of Telugu fans all over again.
