Profit Share Demand Leads To Deepika’s Exit From Spirit

Prabhas’ Spirit is one of the most-awaited films, and its casting has once again become a hot topic on social media. Deepika Padukone was supposed to play the female lead, but she was removed from the film. 

For the first time, Spirit producer and brother of Sandeep Vanga, Pranay Vanga, has openly spoken about the reasons behind Deepika Padukone’s exit from the project.

Pranay says that Sandeep Reddy Vanga had been in discussions with Deepika for nearly one and a half years. However, things did not work out due to Deepika’s crazy demands such as remuneration, scheduling conflicts, and a demand for a 10 percent share in the film’s profits. 

Pranay reveals that these factors complicated the discussions, and an upset Sandeep Reddy Vanga decided to remove Deepika from the project. Tripti is now playing the female lead and her chemistry in the first look poster with Prabhas has won the hearts of many.
