Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Vijay Deverakonda are planning to bring back their blockbuster film Arjun Reddy with an extended version for its 10th anniversary.
The Animal director revealed that he and Vijay are trying to rework the film and release an extended version. Arjun Reddy, which was later remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh, completed a major milestone in both their careers.
However, the project may take some time as Sandeep is currently unable to give enough time to the extended version. Vijay would need only two to three days to dub for the new portions, while Sandeep would have to sit and work on the film for around 15 to 20 days.
Sandeep currently cannot allocate 15 to 20 days because of his busy schedule and ongoing commitments. Hence, the extended version is still in the planning stage.
Arjun Reddy marked Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial debut. Released in 2017, the film became a huge success and turned out to be a major turning point in Vijay Deverakonda’s career.
The film went on to gain a strong cult following, while its Hindi remake Kabir Singh also became a major box-office success. If the extended version arrives for the 10th anniversary, it could once again bring the popular Sandeep-Vijay combination back to the big screen.
