Well, the news is everywhere that director Gunasekhar has approached his fellow filmmaker Trivikram to pen dialogues for his ambitious project Hiranyakasipa. Featuring Rana Daggubati in the lead, the pre-production work of this mammoth budgeted mythological film that involves extensive visual effects is going on from some time, and the addition of Trivikram is a stunner for sure.
In the case if this news is true, many are wondering if Trivikram is really the right choice for the project. of course, the wizard of words derives most of his satires and exceptional sentimental dialogues from mythologies only. He knows every scripture and epic to the core that he could mould the central theme and essence of certain epic heroes easily into his movies. But then, penning mythological and costume-drama kind of dialogues is not his cup of tea, isn’t it?
Proven writers like Sai Madhav Burra who has delivered epic stuff for films like Gautamiputra Satakarni and Sye Raa will actually best suit the needs of Hiranyakasipa but not Trivikram is what many writing experts say. However, as Trivikram never wrote for a mythological film, they might be under-estimating him, but that doesn’t mean he’s not capable of doing it. Hope the star director justifies his presence as a writer in that film.
After turning director, the only other film Trivikram wrote dialogues except his own projects is Pawan Kalyan’s Teenmaar, and his lines didn’t work for that film.
