Vijay’s Patriotic and Periodic Ranabaali for Dusshera!

Ranabaali is emerging as one of the most eagerly awaited patriotic and periodic action dramas, with the makers opting for a grand Dusshera release. The film, headlined by Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna is scheduled to arrive on October 16.

It places the film in lucrative festive season and gives the team additional time to complete the final stages of production and post-production. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali takes audiences back to the 19th century and is inspired by real historical events from the period of British rule between 1854 and 1878.

Vijay Deverakonda plays the central role, while Rashmika Mandanna is paired opposite him as Jayamma. Adding an international dimension to the project is Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo, who makes his Indian cinema debut as the ruthless Sir Theodore Hector, titled the “Demon of Drought.”

Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film under the leadership of Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, with T-Series presenting the project. The scale of the project, its historical setting, international cast member and period-action treatment have steadily increased expectations among audiences across languages.

The film’s posters and character reveals have played a key role in building curiosity. Ajay-Atul are composing the music for the film, adding to its larger-than-life presentation. Ranabaali is now preparing for a grand worldwide theatrical release on Dusshera, promising a mix of patriotism, history, action and powerful performances.
