Chakkora: Lunar Love Bird Gets Puri’s Launch!

A new love story is preparing to make its presence felt on the Telugu screen. Titled Chakkora – Lunar Love Bird, the film has Sravan and Malaika T Vasupal playing the lead pair, and its title motion poster has been launched by Dashing Director Puri Jagannadh.

There is an interesting Puri connection behind the film as well. Director Manga Srinivas, who is making his debut with Chakkora, previously worked as a First Assistant Director with Puri Jagannadh. The film is produced by Dr. Chintada Hemarao under the High Joy Commercials banner in association with VIP Vintage Iconic Pictures.

The makers are promising a love story that is unlike the regular romantic fare. They believe Chakkora will bring a new flavour and a fresh emotional feel to the audience. Adding to the interest is the music by Prince Henry, while T-Series is coming on board for the audio release.

The film boasts a sizeable cast, with actors such as Suman, Brahmaji, Indraja, L.B. Sriram, Nellore Sudarshan and others playing important roles. The team is targeting an October 8 release and is expected to step up promotions with more updates soon.
