Yeshanagula: Odela’s Sixer Resounds From America to Amalapuram

Nani’s The Paradise directed by Srikanth Odela is all set to hit the screens on September 24. With the release date nearing, the team is leaving no stone unturned to create strong buzz around the film. This comes after the teaser received mixed reactions from the audience.

The latest folk song, Yesha Nagula Kattameedha, has now given the film a major boost.

The remix has quickly turned into a chartbuster. From clips at Anirudh’s Dallas concert to the song’s audio release, the track has been connecting strongly with the audience.

While the video song received some mixed reactions, particularly over its choreography, many fans believe it could have a bigger impact in theatres, especially within the mood and world of the film.

Another major positive is the song’s reach across different fan groups after the Dallas clips. Fans of several Telugu heroes are using the track for edits featuring their favourite stars, showing that its appeal has gone beyond Nani’s fan base.

This is the kind of response that strong Telugu-rooted songs can still generate in the pan-India era. Director Srikanth Odela seems to have understood that pulse well and used the folk flavour effectively.

Yesha Nagula Kattameedha has brought back the excitement around The Paradise, and expectations on the film have now gone up significantly. This is something similar to Ravi Teja’s Irumudi as the release of Mallepoola Pallaki song has boosted the prospects of Irumudi and this gave goosebump moments to audiences in theatres. Yesha Nagula is now expected to do similar feat for The Paradise.

While the song has garnered all the buzz for The Paradise, the big question is whether the film can convert this musical buzz into strong theatrical interest when it arrives on September 24.
