A new rumor from the Hindi film industry is creating excitement among movie lovers. According to reports, Ram Charan is being considered to play Lord Krishna in the Telugu remake of the Gujarati blockbuster Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahayate.
The original became a massive success and grossed over ₹120 crore despite being made on a low budget. Interestingly, a few days ago, few reports suggested that Vijay Deverakonda was being discussed for the same role, but now the makers have approached Ram Charan to play the lead.
The role of Lord Krishna is said to be a special appearance rather than a full-fledged lead character. Reports suggest that the makers want to present Krishna in a modern avatar, and who better than Ram Charan to do this role?
On the other hand, Charan is currently recovering from a recent surgery and is expected to focus on his upcoming commitments. The news is that the pooja ceremony for RC 17 with Sukumar is likely to take place in November, with regular shooting from January 2027.
For now, everything remains at the discussion stage. But if the buzz turns out to be true, seeing Ram Charan as Lord Krishna on the big screen could become one of the most talked-about casting decisions in recent times.
