Loki’s Rolex For Suriya’s Landmark 50th Film?

Suriya is riding high with back-to-back hit films now. With Viswanath and Sons becoming a big hit, curiosity is growing about what his next film could be. Interestingly, he has locked in the directors for his upcoming two films, which include his milestone 50th film. Reports indicate that Lokesh Kanagaraj will helm Suriya 50, and the project is Rolex.

Suriya is making wise choices right now. After a commercial success like Karuppu, he entertained families with Viswanath and Sons. He already has two films in the lineup while the 47th is with director Jithu Madhavan and the 48th could be under Gnanvel Raja’s production.

For his 49th film, he will be working with H Vinoth, who will strike a fine balance between storytelling and commercial elements. And for the 50th film, Suriya wants to go all out with violence, which is why Rolex is being discussed.

When Suriya presented himself as Rolex in Vikram, many demanded that a standalone film is the need of the hour. Although both Lokesh and Suriya were ready to immediately execute it, the combination did not get materialized instantly. So now, the project is likely to hit the floors, marking a special milestone.

On the other hand, H Vinoth plans to bring Wamiqa Gabbi and Sai Abhyankar on board for Suriya49. Suriya’s 50th may have Anirudh as a music director with Lokesh directing it. After this, Lokesh is expected to move to Khaithi 2 with Karthi.
