Finally… RC 17 Final Script Locked After Years!

After months of planning and extensive writing, Ram Charan and Sukumar’s RC 17 is finally ready to move into its next phase. The highly anticipated project has been in the works for a long time, even before the release of RRR, with director Sukumar spending considerable time developing the script.

According to sources close to the director, Sukumar has recently completed the final version and locked the script. This project has been generating huge curiosity ever since it was announced, and the news is also that Sukumar will give a final narration to Ram Charan soon.

The team is now planning to begin the shoot in December this year. The makers can now focus on pre-production, casting, locations, and other important arrangements before taking the film to the sets.

RC 17 is one of the most awaited collaborations, especially because it brings Ram Charan and Sukumar together again after their blockbuster Rangasthalam. Expectations are naturally massive, and that is the reason Sukumar has taken a lot of time to lock the script.

However, fans may have to wait longer than expected for the theatrical release. Considering the scale of the project and the amount of shooting and post-production involved, a 2027 release looks difficult, and the film could potentially target a 2028 release.

For now, the biggest update is that Sukumar has finally locked the final script, and the project is gearing up to finally hit the floors. One needs to see which heroine will play the female lead in this biggie.
