Vijayendra Prasad To Pen Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Next

Veteran writer Vijayendra Prasad is all set to take on another massive project. The celebrated storyteller, known for scripting blockbusters such as Baahubali, RRR and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has come on board as the writer for an ambitious mythological jungle saga starring Dhanush. 

The film will be produced by the legendary Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by PS Mithran. Reports about the project have been doing the rounds for several months, and Mithran has now confirmed Vijayendra Prasad’s involvement.

In one of his latest interviews, Mithran revealed that the film is a large-scale mythological adventure set against a jungle backdrop. With Dhanush leading the project and Bhansali backing it, expectations are already sky-high. 

Industry circles believe the film could be one of the most ambitious collaborations between Bollywood and South Indian cinema in recent years. Adding Vijayendra Prasad to the team has only increased the excitement. He has penned story for Varanasi which his son SS Rajamouli is directing with Mahesh Babu as of now. 

The writer has a remarkable track record of creating larger-than-life stories that connect with audiences across languages and regions. For PS Mithran, the film is equally important as it is his Hindi debut. The director has already made a name for himself with films such as Irumbu Thirai and Sardar, and this project gives him an opportunity to work on a much larger canvas.
