Chiranjeevi’s Contribution Is Beyond Andhra Telangana Politics

Some people seem to be a problem with anything and everything related to Megastar Chiranjeevi.

A few days ago, Revanth Reddy Government appointed Chiranjeevi’s wife, Surekha as a member of Yadagirigutta Temple Board.

Hell broke loose and some people were questioning how an Andhra woman is appointed to Telangana Temple Board. Leaders like Kavitha even said Yadagirigutta is a Temple of Telangana people and wronged with the appointment.

And today, Chandrababu Naidu Government appointed Konidela Sushmita, daughter of the Megastar as the Special Invitee to Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple.

Again a section of people were complaining how someone residing and paying taxes in Telangana is being given plum posts in Andhra Pradesh.

Basically, these people seems to have a problem with Chiranjeevi.

The Megastar’s film career spans for about 48 years in Telugu Cinema. He has made over 150 films generating revenue and employment in both the Telugu States.

He also brought recognition to the Telugu people with his contribution to Telugu Cinema. These posts whatever do not come with any monetary benefits. They are just honorary positions.

People should stop screaming as if the Governments are giving away something to Chiranjeevi’s family.

At best they only visit the Temple a few times during their tenure and get special darshans which they will anyway get.

Icons like Chiranjeevi, who have contributed so much to Telugu people and cinema, should be respected, not insulted over every small issue.
