Nani’s The Paradise Crosses $100K In Just 4 Hours

Natural Star Nani is among the rare Telugu actors who enjoys a strong following across all sections of audiences. While his films have a special appeal among family audiences, he has also established a solid fan base among the masses. His popularity in the overseas market is equally impressive, with the actor delivering several films that have crossed the $1 million and $2 million marks.

Now, Nani’s much-awaited flick The Paradise has achieved a remarkable milestone in North America advance sales. The North America bookings for the film opened today, with Prathyangira Cinemas bringing the movie to audiences across the region. The film has registered a sensational response within hours of the bookings going live. The Paradise sold $100K worth of tickets through Cinemark alone in just four hours, making it the fastest-ever Telugu film to reach the milestone through the platform.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise is mounted on an ambitious scale and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner. The film is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on September 24, with premiere shows scheduled for September 23.

The pace of its overseas advance sales is already indicating the massive buzz surrounding The Paradise. If the momentum continues at the same rate, the Nani and Srikanth Odela collaboration could be on course to set several new box-office records in the overseas market. The movie is expected to create the same kind of phenomenon when bookings open in Telugu states and other parts of the country.

As the post-production works are also nearing completion, the makers are expected to kick-start an extensive Pan-India promotional campaign soon. With promotions set to intensify across markets, the team is looking to take the hype surrounding The Paradise to the next level ahead of its release.
