Happy Journey is making an interesting move ahead of its September 18 theatrical release by bringing the film to audiences three days early. The female-centric travel drama will have special premiere shows on September 15 at AMB Cinemas, Hyderabad, and AAA Cinemas, Vizag. The makers are also said to be planning a few additional special screenings.
Such an early premiere strategy is particularly noteworthy, indicating the faith of the team. Rather than waiting until release day, the team appears keen to put the content directly before audiences and allow their response to create further momentum.
This calculated decision to screen the film three days in advance indicates the faith the producers and director have in their product. If the early shows manage to generate strong audience feedback, the resulting word of mouth could become a major advantage for the film.
Happy Journey has already attracted attention through its promotional campaign, with the trailer creating strong buzz about the film’s travel-based narrative. The movie is directed by Abhiramm Naidu and produced by Balaji Gutta and Koushik Reddy under Gutta Productions and Kamalakar Film Corporation.
