At one point, many wonder why our star comedians who charge nearly 2-4 lakhs a day and earn more than a couple of crores every year, never get into film production. But at the fag end of their careers, many comedians try hands at production, so did Brahmanandam, Babu Mohan and others. Now, comedian Ali joins the bandwagon.
Picking up Malayalam film ‘Vikruthi’, which happens to be a decent hit there, Ali is now remaking the same in Telugu with the title ‘Andaru Bagundali, Andulo Nenundali’. And the film has to be extensively shot on a local metro train, for which, acquiring permission is actually quite tough. Post covid pandemic, getting permission to shoot on Hyderabad’s prestigious metro rail for a larger number of days has become puzzling. But then, Ali managed it.
Using his political clout, Ali is said to have acquired the permission to shoot on Metro train for a longer time. It is heard that Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav helped the comedian get this permission, as the Minister always chooses to help cinema folks when they knock his door.
