Of course, everyone is worried as to why Telugu filmmakers are not coming up with interesting content for Netflix while their Bollywood and Tamil counterparts are actually rocking with terrific movies and web series. And here comes an answer, that is not officially announced, but the industry is right now buzzing with it.
Understanding the fact that new media houses and fresh talents are unable to churn out content for Netflix, Rana Daggubati is said to have decided to roll out a new wing of Suresh Productions, that will now produce content for Netflix first and Amazon Prime later. Named as ‘Daggubati Films’, this wing will work exclusively on creating fresh ideas and mindblowing concepts for Netflix. All of them will be produced in Telugu language only but will later get dubbed to other languages like Hindi and Tamil.
Currently, Rana is said to have jotted down a few ideas and picked up a couple of teams to work on those concepts. While Suresh Babu is working closely with Netflix from a time, they are unable to bring out something exciting together. We have to see if things will work out now with Rana’s interference.
