Nani deserves credit for not hiding after the mixed response to The Paradise. Usually, when a big film gets heavy trolling and negative talk, the team stays away from the media. But Nani opened up within just two days, showing that the team is ready to face the criticism.

The Paradise may not have received the expected talk, but the opening itself is a major positive. The film collected more than ₹75 crore on its first day, which is the biggest opening of Nani’s career. More importantly, the second day did not see a complete collapse despite the negative reactions. Several major centres continued to report strong occupancy.

There is clearly a section of the audience that wants to experience the film in theatres before forming an opinion. That is helping The Paradise maintain some momentum. The team is now looking to use the weekend to push the film further.

A press meet is being held today and Nani, director Srikanth Odela and other key members are expected to address several points. Collection King Mohan Babu, who has stayed away from the promotional campaign so far, is also expected to speak. The team may directly respond to the trolling and discuss some of the criticism surrounding the film.

The next two days are extremely important for The Paradise. Crossing ₹100 crore should be achievable if the current momentum continues, but fans are hoping for a much bigger number. How strongly it performs in B and C centres over the weekend will decide where the film finally stands.
