Producer’s Passion For Cinema Boosts Anakapalli Buzz

The Telugu film industry is a place for many talented people to test their luck. Not just directors, actors, and technicians, but also a few passionate people enter films as producers. Here is the story of Kandregula Naidu, who is set to debut with the film Anakapalli.

Starring Vikram Sahidev, Sandhya Vasishta and Tarak Ponnappa, the film is directed by Khagesh Tammineni. Kandregula is taking part in the promotions and says Bhageeratha inspired his journey.

In fact, Kandregula’s passion for film is so strong that he bought an entire theatre when he couldn’t get tickets for a film. “I went to watch Prabhas’ Mirchi along with family to a theatre in Anakapalli, and it was housefull that day, and we could not get tickets. That day, I decided that I should buy this theatre, and today, I own it, and we are releasing our Anakapalli in it,” said Kandregula proudly, displaying his passion.

Not only that, Kandregula rose to success in the real estate business, and he says Ravi Teja’s Bhageeratha inspired that journey. Just like how Ravi Teja grows big in real estate in the film, by taking a cheque of 5 lakh rupees from Nasser, Kandregula in real life also grew in real estate with the help of Anakapalli residents who gave their lands to him for development without him offering any commission at the start of the deal. He owes his success in life and real estate to the people of Anakapalli.

Kandregula’s honesty in sharing his love for cinema and the effort that went into making Anakapalli is building genuine positive buzz around the film. Noted director Trinadha Rao Nakkina wrote the story and screenplay and also served as a co-producer.

Billed as a raw, rustic rural entertainer, the film follows a young man in Anakapalli who slips into organized crime under a ruthless mob leader. However, falling in love compels him to weigh tyrannical power against his former dreams.

Kandregula Naidu and Thrinadha Rao Nakkina produced the film under the Bhavya Sri Movie Makers and Nakkina Narratives banners. The film is hitting the screens on October 2.
