Jason Sanjay, the director of Sigma and son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay, has opened up about his personal life for the first time. In a recent interview, Jason revealed that he had only one serious relationship in his life.
The young filmmaker said he fell in love during his college days and the relationship lasted for nearly one and a half years. However, things did not work out between them, and the couple eventually decided to part ways.
Jason clarified that it was a mutual breakup and there was no major conflict between them. Both of them spoke openly and decided to move on with their lives.
Speaking about the difficult phase, Jason said the breakup happened while he was studying filmmaking abroad. He admitted that it was a challenging period and that he often listened to Yuvan Shankar Raja’s romantic songs to cope with the emotional pain.
Jason also revealed that he stayed away from social media after the breakup. He felt maintaining distance was important to move on and avoid reconnecting unnecessarily.
Jason says that after the breakup, he shifted his entire focus to filmmaking and started working on Sigma, the project that eventually became his directorial debut. Sadly, the film ended as a flop, and one needs to see how Sanjay will make a comeback in his career.
