Varanasi In 6 Months, What’s Next Jakkanna?

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Varanasi is going to hit the screens in 6 months. Usually, a film of that scale needs aggressive promotion, at least from now. The team has yet to officially kick-start its promotional campaign, but fans are questioning the plan of action it will adopt. So far, the team showcased limited material from the film and there is still a lot to be witnessed.

So far, the film’s first look is out, and the lead actors’ looks have been revealed to the public. Additionally, the glimpse that was released is still doing rounds, and that is a major element in the pre-release promotions of the film so far. Some BTS pictures of the lead cast have come out along with leaked images into the sets of the film. However, the awareness and understanding of the film is currently limited. In such a scenario, the fans wanted Rajamouli to make some noise.

Even for Mahesh Babu’s birthday, there is no significant promotional activity and despite knowing that Mahesh has completed the shoot for the film, the fans are craving for some promotional material. Some of the recent speculations around the project revealed that the promotional activity will begin towards the end of the year, and by this time, the movie’s re-recording work will be completed.

Varanasi is a film that will have global attention, and the promotions will not just be limited to the Telugu states alone but will have tours across the world. Even Karthikeya, who is also a producer of the film, said that he will sit on the promotional plans once his DTTT gets released. Since DTTT was released now, he will start chalking out the marketing plans which should get started at the earliest to capture the visibility across the world.

Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran are a part of the film. MM Keeravani is the music director of the film. KL Narayana bankrolls the film under the Durga Arts banner.
