Vivek Sagar Is Back In The Spotlight With Thulabharam

Vivek Sagar is a rare find in the film industry. His talent is so amusing, yet he remains underappreciated and underestimated. However, he is back in the news with his score for just a small glimpse of Thulabharam. Directed by Vivek Athreya, Thulabharam is Ravi Teja’s next film, and its title track features a remixed old song that’s getting everyone’s attention.

Having shot to fame with Pelli Choopulu, Vivek Sagar later went on to score for a lot of movies where his work got due recognition. But often, the film’s success or other factors overshadow his music. Moreover, since he is a low-key person, we don’t know much about him beyond his music. It’s hard to make people go mad for the music and then hide from attention, but Vivek does it.

So far this year, Vivek Sagar has released two songs, and neither has drawn much attention. He also had two releases last year, and on one, Subham, he worked only on the score. 35 is one of his recent hits, and it’s been close to four years since he had a solid success. With Thulabharam already a sensation, expectations are high for Vivek now.

Vivek Sagar is scoring music for Vivek Athreya, starting with his debut, Mental Madilo. They worked on Brochevarevarura and Ante Sundharaniki. In between, Vivek worked with Jake Bejoy on Saripodha Sanivaram, then returned to working with Vivek Sagar. The combination is already trending, and if Vivek Sagar delivers with the album, it will be another milestone in his career.
