Why Is Varanasi’s Release Date In The News Again?

Rumours about the possible postponement of Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s Varanasi have started doing the rounds once again, creating fresh speculation among fans. With the film progressing through its final stages of production, discussions about a possible change in the release date have gained attention on social media.

According to the ongoing rumours, the film could face a delay due to pending post production work.

There is also speculation that Prabhas’ Fauzi might take over the release date if Varanasi gets postponed from April 7, 2027. However, there has been no official announcement supporting such reports.

As of now, there is no indication that the Rajamouli team is considering a postponement. The film’s shooting is nearing completion, and Mahesh Babu has already wrapped up his crucial portions. This has strengthened expectations that the project is moving forward according to its planned schedule.

Given the scale and ambition of the project, fans are naturally eager to know whether the makers can meet the announced deadline. However, rumours surrounding big-budget films are common, especially when production work continues close to the release window.

For now, there is no confirmed reason to believe that Varanasi will miss its scheduled release. The film remains on track for an April 7 release.

Unless the makers announce a change, fans can continue to look forward to the planned date. Any official update from the team during this time will provide greater clarity on the film’s release plans. Stay tuned for more.
