Indian 3: Producer Rejects Shankar’s 25-day Shoot Request?

The latest buzz around Kamal Haasan’s Indian 3 has sparked fresh discussion. According to the latest gossip, Shankar had requested an additional 25-day shooting schedule from Lyca Productions to shoot few more scenes.

However, the production house is said to have rejected the request and asked Shankar to prepare the final version using the footage already available. This development has raised questions about how Shankar will complete the much-awaited sequel without an extensive reshoot.

One of the media houses in Tamil Nadu reported that the makers felt the existing footage is enough to move the project forward and there is no need to waste any money on the third part.

On the other hand, Lyca Productions has agreed to provide the required funds for the film’s visual effects without compromising on quality. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is expected to begin dubbing for Indian 3 soon.

Reports also suggest that the team may conduct a maximum of two to three days of additional shooting if necessary. Fans are now waiting for clarity on the film’s progress, especially after the long gap surrounding the sequel.

The coming weeks may reveal how long the project will take to release. After the debacle of Indian 2, there is no buzz for this film, and one needs to see how Shankar will market this third part in this iconic franchise.
