Social Media Horror: A Nightmare For Depressed Directors

Social Media is literally giving nightmares to the directors who do deliver bad products.

Right from the Premieres, we see a barrage of trolls hitting social media, and they continue until the movie loses steam.

This happens for every film with a reasonable actor and increases multiple times for films that release with huge hype and hikes.

The nightmare is just not over after the theatrical run. The directors are already demotivated and depressed by this time. And then, the OTT release happens, and the Trolls are back with rejuvenated energy.

Social media, particularly X and Instagram, are filled with Memes and Trolls obtaining HQ content from the OTT Print.

Every small detail missed in the theaters was captured, mocked, and insulted after the OTT release.

Also the content comes like a flood.

In recent times, Epic and The Paradise are the two most-trolled films. The trolls about ‘The Paradise’ are just unimaginable right now.

Definitely, Srikanth Odela would have some sleepless nights.

In this category, the most affected are Prabhas’s directors – Om Raut (Adipurush) and Maruthi (The Rajasaab).

Both the directors are trolled even today for their failures. People are just moving away from Om Raut, but they are not going to leave Maruthi alone anytime soon.

Even the directors who delivered successful films are not spared.

Once a successful film comes on OTT, we see people posting ‘Emundhira Deenlo Intha Leparu?’ and trying to belittle the success and the product.

Even an astonishing hit like Irumudi was also not spared by these people.
