Ruku Ruku Rukmini: Krishna’s Love For School Teacher

Alias Rukmini introduces a fun romantic situation through its first single, Ruku Ruku Rukmini, which has now been released by the makers. The song captures how a young man’s fascination with his crush follows him everywhere, even into a courtroom, adding a playful touch to the film’s romantic narrative. It’s a sweet symphony of love and longing.

Starring Nithiin and Aafiya Sayed, the film brings together romance, humour and an intriguing storyline. Directed by Murali Kanth Devasoth, known for Dhandora, and produced by Deepthi Ganta under Natural Star Nani’s Unanimous Productions, the project follows the successful production house’s much-talked-about hit COURT – State Vs A Nobody.

The newly released song introduces Krishna’s adorable obsession with Rukmini, a schoolteacher whose presence makes his everyday life more meaningful. Krishna works at a court and gets an opportunity to admire her during his daily routine. As his feelings grow stronger, he begins imagining how wonderful life could be if she accepted his love. However, beneath his confidence lies the familiar fear of facing rejection.

The song’s appeal is strengthened by Vijai Bulganin’s composition, which blends a gentle romantic tune with peppy orchestration. Purnachary’s lyrics express the beauty of admiration and unspoken feelings, whereas Anurag Kulkarni’s soulful rendition further enhances the song’s emotional warmth.

Nithiin fits the role of a relatable middle-class youngster, while Aafiya Sayed adds grace to the screen as Rukmini. The song has all the qualities of a chartbuster and is poised to dominate playlists.

Beyond its playful romance, Alias Rukmini promises a deeper story in which an unexpected secret turns Krishna’s life upside down. The film explores relationships and social perceptions while maintaining an entertaining narrative. It is set to hit theatres on December 4.
