November has traditionally been considered a dry season for Telugu cinema, with fewer releases compared to festive months like Sankranti, summer, and Dasara. The month usually lacks major holidays prompting filmmakers to choose other windows for their theatrical outings.
As a result, the month has often witnessed a relatively quiet box-office scene, with small and medium-budget films taking advantage of the available screens.
But this November 2026 is shaping up differently. Around 10 Telugu films are lined up for release on November 12 and 13, creating an unexpectedly crowded release window.
The list includes Donga Naa Koduku featuring Mouli, Itllu Arjuna, Dark Chocolate, Romeo Juliet, Sharwanand’s Bhogi, Sudheer GOAT, Ah, Talcum Powder, Chandrayaan, and Maya Lady. Adding to the excitement, Geethanjali is also set for a theatrical re-release during the same time.
Out of these Donga Naa Koduku, Sudheer’s GOAT, Itlu Arjuna and Bhogi are notable releases. But with so many films arriving within just two days, the competition for screens and audience attention will be intense.
Some of these above-mentioned smaller films will need strong promotions, positive word of mouth, and good content to stand out in the crowded market. However, the lack of major releases could also work in their favour.
If even a few films like Donga Naa Koduku, Itlu Arjuna and Bhogi manage to connect with audiences, they could enjoy a decent run without facing direct competition from others.
The big question is whether this unusual November rush will translate into box-office success or leave several films struggling for attention. One thing is clear: the traditionally quiet month is preparing for a surprisingly busy weekend.
