A conversation about money, an unexpected opportunity and a casino floor set the stage for Pocket Rockkets, whose teaser introduces two friends navigating the uncertainties of a life-changing decision.
Presented by Niharika Konidela’s Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Maximum City Studios, the film is written and directed by Rudra Atri.
The teaser establishes the financial pressures surrounding the protagonists before introducing a possible way out. Their circumstances bring them to a point where an opportunity to make money appears worth considering, even if the path ahead is far from certain.
The casino setting adds another dimension to their predicament. Roulette tables and gambling machines suggest the possibility of sudden fortune, while the friends’ exchanges reveal the hopes driving their decisions. The teaser leaves the outcome undisclosed, allowing the contrast between their ambitions and the risks they face to generate curiosity.
Their camaraderie provides the narrative with a distinct character-driven appeal. Humour emerges through their interactions, offering a glimpse of the bond between them without revealing how their journey unfolds. The teaser’s selective approach keeps the larger story under wraps, leaving audiences to wonder whether this gamble will deliver the change they seek.
The film features Trinadh Varma, Nirmal and Shriya Kontham, with JD Chakravarthy in a pivotal role. It is produced by Padmaja Konidela, Rahul Raghavendra and Rahul Nimmakuri, with Ramesh Manyam as executive producer. Edurolu Raju handles cinematography, Gyaani composes the music, and Anwar Ali is the editor.
Pocket Rockkets brings its story of friendship, ambition and risk to cinemas on December 11, 2026.
