Arvind Swami Looks Near Perfect As MGR

On the occasion of MG Ramachandran’s (MGR) death anniversary today the makers of J Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi have unveiled the new poster of actor Arvind Swami as MGR. The upcoming feature based on the life and times of Jayalalithaa, portrayed by Kangana Ranaut, is directed by Vijay.

In the poster, dressed in white shirt and wearing MGR’s trademark black shades, Arvind Swami is seen with his hands raised in a vanakkam (namaskaram) to his partymen. He looks near perfect as MGR here in the black and white image. The body language too looks quite close to that of MGR’s.

Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh together are producing the film which is done with its shooting and is gearing up to grace the theatres.
