Official: RED To Hit Screens On Jan 14

Ram Pothineni, who is hot under the heels of mass blockbuster iSmart Shankar, is all set for theatrical release of his next RED. The film has got censor clearance with U/A certificate and the makers are all set for release on January 14 on Sankranthi eve.

Billed to be a mass thriller, the film is the remake of Tamil super hit Thadam which garnered both critical acclaim as well as commercial success. Director Kishore Tirumala seems to have done enough modifications and betterment to make it suitable to Telugu audience.

Ram will be seen in a dual role and the trailer showed the variations. The film has Malvika Sharma and Nivetha Pethuraj in significant roles. Nivetha will be seen as a cop and comedian Sathya in a hilarious role. Already, the film’s trailer has struck a chord with audiences. The film is bankrolled by ‘Sravanthi’ Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies banner.

With RED slated for Jan 14 release, the film is going to take on Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni’s Krack that is scheduled for Jan 15 release.
