Vijay’s Cake Cutting With Sword Criticized

Tamil star actor Vijay Sethupathi has turned 43 today. The social media is flooded with birthday wishes to Vijay but a picture of the ‘Master’ villain has gone viral on social media. Well the picture has Vijay cutting the cake with a sword. As the picture stormed the internet, it invited criticism and so Vijay issued an apology.

In a statement, Vijay wrote, “I thank all of them who wished me on my birthday. Three days ago, a picture taken at my office has led to a debate. Many of them told me that this will set a wrong precedent. Henceforth, I will be more cautious about these things. If the act has hurt anyone, I apologize for that.”

Vijay stated that the picture was taken about three days back at a shooting spot of his upcoming film with director Ponram. The crew members were also seen in the picture.

It was an unprecedented act and Vijay was quick enough to respond and issue an apology. Hope the issue is settled now.
