Nayanthara Keeps Chiru Waiting?

Chiranjeevi, who is nearing the completion of Acharya and waiting for its May 2021 release, has set his focus on his forthcoming films. Chiru is going to remake Lucifer in Telugu and the film will be helmed by director Mohan Raja. The film was formally launched the other day. However, the makers haven’t announced the film’s female lead yet.

Although there have been several reports that Nayanthara would reprise the role played by Manju Warrier in the original, the makers haven’t announced Nayanthara’s name yet. Inside buzz is that the makers of Lucifer remake have approached Nayan. But Nayan is yet to give her confirmation. This is said to be the reason why director Mohan Raja has not announced Nayan’s name yet. While Nayan is choosy about roles and offers, keeping such a big offer on hold is raising eyebrows in tinsel town.

Meanwhile, there have been reports about Nayanthara’s impending wedding with boyfriend and director Vignesh Shivan. It is heard that this could also be the reason Nayan is not confirming her arrival on board yet.
