Actor Jagapathi Babu was brought up in Chennai and can speak Tamil fluently. He had acted in quite a few Tamil films in the past but he didn’t dub his own voice in those films. Now, Jagapathi Babu is dubbing his own voice after a long time for the upcoming film Laabam.
Jagapathi Babu took on Twitter to share the glimpse of him dubbing for the film and wrote, “I was pretty excited to dub in Tamil after so long. Here’s behind the scenes from the dubbing studio for @VijaySethuOffl’s #Labham.” The actor’s command over the language is really good and one wonders why he didn’t dub for all these years.
Directed by SP Jananathan, Laabam features Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The film is currently in the post-production stages and the release date will be announced soon. Laabam is being produced by Arumuga Kumar and Vijay Sethupathi. D. Imman is composing the music of it.
