Nag To Shoot For Bangarraju

Akkineni Nagarjuna scored a big hit with ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ in the direction of Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. Immediately after the film’s release, the actor confirmed a prequel to the film, titled Bangarraju. Bangarraju is the character that Nagarjuna plays in the film. However, the project was pushed to the back seat due to several reasons and the director did two more films in the gap. The film was supposed to get launched for Ugadi last year but unfortunately, the launch was postponed because of the pandemic. Now, the film unit is ready to hit the floors.

According to the sources close to Annapurna Studios, the film’s shoot will begin from the second week of this month. Kalyan Krishna has been working on the script for more than a year and he also finished the pre-production activities. Nagarjuna also wrapped up the Wild Dog shoot and will start focusing on this new film. The film unit planned back to back schedules to finish the film in less time. The fans are waiting for the announcement of the film’s shoot.

Naga Chaitanya is said to be playing an important character in the film. Ramya Krishna will pair up with Nagarjuna again. Annapurna Studios will produce the film. The official announcement on the film will come out soon.
