‘Ninnila Ninnila’ is the upcoming Telugu that will have a direct release on digital streaming platform Zee Plex. Tamil hero Ashok Selvan is marking his debut in Telugu cinema. Ritu Varma and Nithya Menen will be seen as the heroines in the movie. The film unit launched the film’s trailer a while ago and it has the shades of Barfi and Ratatouille. Ashok Selvan plays a chef in the film who is obese and often undergoes muscle spasms.
According to the film unit, the film’s synopsis is, “What happens when Dev, a hefty genius chef with muscle spasms, Tara, his co-worker with OCD, and Maya, a happy-go-lucky girl with the mind of a child, cross paths?”
The trailer introduces the three lead characters and their traits. However, there is no special conflict in the film as the situations that run through these three characters will drive the story forward. The trailer hinted at a roller-coaster ride of emotions and has a fresh feel. Altogether, it is a ‘live-love-laugh’ kind of concept in a different backdrop. Nasser, Satya, and others also play key roles in the film.
Divakar Mani is the film’s cinematographer and Premam fame Rajesh Murugesan is the music director. Navin Nooli is the film’s editor. BVSN Prasad produced the movie under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Ani IV Sasi, the son of popular Malayalam filmmaker IV Sasi is the film’s director.
The movie will release on 26th February on Zee Plex.
