Panja Vaishnav Tej’s debut Uppena marks the entry of one more member to the Tollywood film industry. The film was supposed to hit the screens in April last year but was postponed due to the pandemic. The film will release on February 12th and the trailer which came out yesterday generated a positive buzz around the film. The makers are holding a pre-release event tomorrow and there’s mega suspense that surrounded the event.
The big question is, “Who is the chief guest of the event?” Is it Megastar Chiranjeevi or is it Stylish Star Allu Arjun? The fans have no clue about it. For Sai Dharam Tej’s launch, Pawan Kalyan graced Rey pre-release event. For Vaishnav Tej’s launch, there are more chances to see Chiranjeevi at the event. Since Uppena’s producers Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar are currently working with Allu Arjun on Pushpa, they might request him to grace the occasion as well.
The sources close to the film unit are tight-lipped about the same. If Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun together grace the occasion, it will be a Mega event that took place in recent times. The entire film unit, including the cast and crew of Uppena, is expected to make their presence at the pre-release event.
Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music director. Buchi Babu Sana is the director. The film hits the screens on 12th February.
