It Took 5 Years To Shape Drishyam 2 Script

The Complete Actor Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph scored a super hit with Drishyam in Malayalam. Later, the film was remade into multiple languages. The director is currently ready with the sequel for Drishyam. Drishyam 2 is arriving on Amazon Prime Video on 19th February 2021. It took almost five years for the director to finalize the script. The director has revealed the same during the film’s promotions.

“It took about five years to finalize the script. And went ahead with the shoot only after the final draft for the sequel received a positive response from my family, friends, and colleagues.” revealed the director Jeethu Joseph about the film.

Mohanlal interacted with fans on social media yesterday. In his Twitter interaction with fans, the actor hinted at the film having a theatrical release, despite the film being available on Amazon Prime Video. When the fans asked if Mohanlal is considering it, the actor responded to him saying there is a possibility for the same. However, Mohanlal did not give any concrete answer.

Drsihyam 2 features Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil, reprising their roles from the first part.
