Amidst rumours that Surekha Vani would be entering into marital life again, the busy character actress has quashed them as baseless rumours. She clarified that she has no plans for a second marriage and she is not looking for a groom. She said the rumours had no truth in them.
There were rumours that Surekha Vani’s daughter Supreeta wanted her mom to get married again on the lines of Singer Sunitha. However, Surekha made it clear that there was no such pressure from her daughter or from her family. Surekha is presently having a good time with her daughter and busy with her films.
In May 2019, Surekha had lost her husband Suresh Teja in a hospital due to prolonged illness. Surekha had never spoken out about her husband’s illness. However, she had reduced her workload and assisted her husband in his final days. Suresh was the director of TV programs. Surekha Vani had started her career on TV as an anchor and went onto become a busy character actress in films.
