Shalini Is Excited About Check: Nithiin

Nithiin entered into wedlock with his longtime girlfriend Shalini Kandukuri in July last year. His film with Chandrasekhar Yeleti is gearing up for release this Friday i.e 26th Feb. As Check happens to be Nithiin’s first film after getting married, his wife Shalini is a bundle of nerves about the film.

“Shalini is really excited about Check. She is keeping her fingers crossed on the film’s result. For me, it is like any other movie release. I had not planned to do this film after marriage. I had accepted the film even before marriage. Due to lockdown the film got delayed. I’m confident about the film. It is a content-oriented film. It is going to stand out in my career as a special film,” says Nithiin.

Nithiin added that life after marriage is good. He says that he doesn’t want to take his work to home. He wants to maintain a simple private life at home.

“After Srinivasa Kalyanam, I had tasted three flops. That’s when I had decided to do a commercial film and a diI fferent film. During Bheeshma, I had agreed to do Check with Chandrasekhar Yeleti garu who is an expert in doing different films. Unexpectedly, lockdown has delayed our film,” adds Nithiin.

“The story of Check is simple. It is the journey of Aditya. When Yeleti garu had narrated me the story, I had liked the climax. The last 15 minutes of the film is going to be a highlight of Check. Director’s mark is clearly seen at the end. The film will portray Nithiin in a new way. People who all have watched the film so far have liked it totally.”

“Priya Prakash Varrier is new and fresh. She learned her dialogues quickly. She is good at acting. Her performance is good. I should thank Rakul Preet for accepting such a role without any songs or romantic scenes. She took a role with substance. All other actors have done a good job. Unfortunately, Check has no references to Pawan Kalyan garu. Since it is a different film, it is not possible to have any reference or photo of him. The film is majorly set in jail. It revolves around Chess game.”

Talking about his upcoming films, Nithiin shares,”Rang De has shaped up well. Andhadhun remake is progressing at fast pace. Half of the film’s shoot has been wrapped up. After that, I’ll be doing Power Peta which is expected to be a path-breaking film in my career. I’ll be playing roles of different ages which is new and special. The film’s shoot will begin in May and it is going to be made in two parts.”
