Taapsee’s Sarcastic Reaction On IT raids

Bollywood actress Taapsee was in headlines as the Income Tax department has held raids at her residence in Mumbai earlier this week. The IT department claimed that there was a manipulation of Rs 650 crore. However Taapsee did not come out before the media to react to the IT raids but she took to her Twitter handle and make sarcastic comments.

“3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner. 2. The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before,” tweeted Taapsee.

The ‘PINK’ actress lastly took a dig at Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman who commented that IT held raids in 2013 as well. “3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister P.S- “not so sasti” anymore,” summed up Taapsee.

Going by these comments, Taapsee makes it clear that she is not involved in any tax evasion. But the IT department thinks otherwise.
