When ‘Acharya’ hits the screens on May 13, the euphoria is expected to be unprecedented all over. Going by the hype surrounding the Mega movie already, it will be interesting to watch the collections that the movie will log. When Chiranjeevi last year confirmed that his son Ram Charan would be playing a powerful character in ‘Acharya’, expectations from the Koratala Siva-directed drama went several notches higher.
The father-son duo acting together is a new milestone in the history of Telugu cinema. Two of the biggest stars of Telugu cinema are acting in full-fledged roles, lending ‘Acharya’ a unique charm. Their fans are waiting to catch them on the big screen.
If Chiru is known for a terrific style and dialogue delivery, besides graceful dance movies, Charan is expected to deliver a dekko in company with his father in this Mani Sharma musical. “The performances by the father-son duo will animate the meaningful story that Koratala Siva is expected to tell in ‘Acharya’,” a source says.
If ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Khaidi No. 150’ were just teasers in terms of the father-son duo sharing screen space, ‘Acharya’ is the actual blockbuster feature that Mega fans have been waiting for.
