We have revealed a couple of days ago already that producer TG Viswaprasad and writer Kona Venkat, who have partnered to make Anushka’s Nishabdam, are actually in talks with a top OTT platform to release their movie. While the producers have later stated that there is no such plan for them, here’s an update.
Apparently discussions are said to be still going on with this OTT platform as Nishabdam producers want a couple of new clauses to be included in the agreements.
That includes not just a hefty payment, but also they want to release the movie in theatres once lockdown gets lifted and cinema exhibition gets permissions. Regarding the same, discussions are said to be going on silently between this OTT and Nishabdam producers.
In fact, Nishabdam should arrive back in January 3rd week only but then some repeated delays have pushed the film to Summer. Some say that the film is getting a pretty good offer from OTT and the makers should make. most of it. At the same time, when big Bollywood films are going for OTT, why not other Telugu movies?
